About Nalgonda

The Nalgonda (City/Town) was constituted into a Municipality in the year 1941 as III grade Municipality under AP Municipalities Act 1965/AP Municipal Corporation Act 1955 and at present it is in the status of 1st grade . The Nalgonda Municipality is one of the important Municipalities located in Telangana Region. It spread over an area of 105.00 square kilometers. This town is Head Quarters of Nalgonda District and well connected by rail and road. Nalgonda located at a distance of 103KM from Hyderabad and 19 Kms away NH9. The geographical Located of Nalgonda Municipality is at longitude of E79 16’and Latitude N17 03’.
